Vitalis is recruiting an experienced Outreach Support Worker to work in a team within Manchester City Council. This role focuses on transitional safeguarding, a social work practice area that supports young people transitioning from childhood to adulthood, especially those at risk of exploitation, abuse, neglect, or homelessness. The position involves proactive outreach, building trusting relationships with young people, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners. The role is temporary until March 2025, with a possibility of extension.
