Job summary

Red Bull Advanced Technologies in Milton Keynes invites applications for an Assembly Technician to join our expanding Assembly Group. You will support build, service and maintenance at the factory and on events, applying high standards of quality and a proactive, zero-fault ethos.

The role requires reading complex engineering drawings, managing build specifications and revisions, and communicating issues clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High level of technical understanding and wide assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts.
• Willingness to travel to events to support RBAT activities.
• Physical fitness to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and using electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation of the Assembly Group at the factory and on event support as required.
• Ensure assemblies are built to drawings and latest documentation.
• Maintain build specifications and revisions per instructions.
• Communicate quality issues to stakeholders and record NCRs.
• Collaborate with the Assembly Team and other departments.

Based at our Milton Keynes campus you will be responsible for supporting the operation of the Assembly Group, covering all aspects of build, service and maintenance, both at the factory and 'on event' support as required. You will meet the highest standards in all areas of quality, commitment and conduct.

Essential criteria required for our Assembly Technician Role:

• Ensure all assemblies are built to drawing, operated and maintained to the highest industry standards and in line with the latest technical documentation.
• Manage all build specification, up revisions and component lifing in accordance with Production Control and Technical Operations instructions.
• Operate to a 'zero fault' working ethos.
• Communicate assembly related quality issues to the appropriate key stakeholders ensuring faults/NCR's are recorded via the internal business Faults System.
• Become an integral member of the Assembly Group team, providing support to all team members and promoting open discussion with members throughout the business.
• Assist with other activities deemed appropriate by the RBAT Assembly Team Leader or RBAT Assembly Projects Manager.

Key Attributes of the Assembly Technician candidate:

• Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and a wide range of assembly experience.
• Able to confidently read and interpret complex engineering technical drawings.
• Provide a flexible approach towards working hours which may include working occasional shifts to meet company objectives.
• Travel to events to support RBAT activities as required.
• Ensure a good level of personal fitness is maintained to carry out duties in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience of using electronic business system.
