Job summary

Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Assembly Operative to join their busy factory in Holmfield HX2. This is an immediate start on a temporary contract until around Christmas, with shifts from 6.00am-2.00pm and 2.00pm-10.00pm on a rotating basis every two weeks.

Salary is £14.73 per hour plus overtime if available. The role requires hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in using a range of hand and power tools, and the

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on Assembly experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Able to follow diagrams and engineers' instructions to assemble products.
• Available to start ASAP or with short notice.

• Position, align and fit manufactured parts to form complete units or sub-units.
• Follow engineering assembly drawings.
• Utilise hand and power tools to assemble products ensuring quality.
• Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by management.

NOTE - This is a temporary contract till around Christmas (maybe less, as workloads are assessed).

Shift pattern: 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm (rotating every 2 weeks)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To position, align and fit manufactured parts to form complete units or sub-units.
• To following engineering assembly drawings.
• Utilising hand and power tools to assemble products whilst maintaining consistent quality.
• Any other duties as reasonable requested by management.
