Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is seeking an Assembly Operator in Plymouth to assemble and test hydraulic pumps and motors in line with SOPs and quality standards, with alternating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts and a salary of £29,000 including a 20% shift allowance.

You will also complete production paperwork, perform daily checks, meet production targets, and report issues to the relevant team, while benefiting from an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Able to work to production targets and KPIs.
• Experience following written work instructions and SOPs.
• Able to read basic measuring equipment and carry out checks.
• Commitment to quality, health & safety and 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic pumps and motors to SOPs and quality standards.
• Test hydraulic units to customer-specific requirements following training.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and testing hydraulic pumps and motors in line with company procedures, quality standards and customer requirements. You will also complete production paperwork, carry out daily checks, meet production targets and report any issues or abnormalities to the relevant team.
