Job summary

Pertemps Plymouth is seeking Temporary Assembly Operatives for a busy manufacturing site in Plymouth. The role involves assembling products to specification, with full training provided and opportunities to develop skills within a manufacturing environment.

Shifts are rotating (early and late) with a 25% uplift for late shifts. The role offers ongoing temporary work, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, and onsite parking. Candidates should be reliable, learn quickly, and work well in a team.

Rotating Shifts

£12.80 per hour (Early Shift) 25% Shift Enhancement for Late Shifts

Rotating Shifts | Monday to Friday Week 1: 6:30am - 2:30pm Week 2: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

We are currently recruiting for Temporary Assembly Operatives to join our client in Plymouth.

The Role

As a Temporary Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling products to specification while maintaining high quality standards and production targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assembling products using hand and power tools
• Following work instructions and assembly drawings
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Packing completed items ready for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

About You

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Keen to learn new skills
• Able to work accurately and with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work a rotating shift pattern
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
