Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading interior design specialist for an Assembly Operative role based in Greater Manchester. The position is hands-on, joining a team delivering bespoke production work including assembly, packing, and safe handling of materials.

You will work Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 2:15pm with overtime opportunities. A background in manufacturing or workshop environments and a team-oriented approach are valued, along with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in an assembly or workshop-based role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assembly work, including operating machinery, scraping mirrors using a blade, gluing, blasting, and other related production tasks.
• Safely handle and move chairs and other products throughout the production area.
• Complete packing duties to ensure products are prepared for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Undertake general housekeeping duties, including removing waste and sweeping work areas.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Assembly Operative

Our client is a leading specialist in interior design, working with a range of prestigious Blue Chip clients to deliver high-quality, bespoke solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out assembly work, including operating machinery, scraping mirrors using a blade, gluing, blasting, and other related production tasks.
• Safely handle and move chairs and other products throughout the production area.
• Complete packing duties to ensure products are prepared for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Undertake general housekeeping duties, including removing waste and sweeping work areas.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in a similar assembly or workshop-based role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to carry out repetitive tasks accurately.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A flexible approach to work, including a willingness to work overtime when required.
• The ability to safely lift and move heavy items.

• 30-minute unpaid break each day
