Job summary

AAllscreens Nationwide Ltd in Yate is seeking an Assembly Operative to join the production team. You will perform assembly of sub-assemblies for the Final Assembly department and assist with material handling, moving equipment to required locations.

You will also assemble machinery, hydraulic pipes and pumps, and help put frames together while maintaining strict health and safety practices and keeping the workshop clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering or production environment.
• Ability to lift 20 kg.
• Good level of English reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies for the Final Assembly department.
• Handle materials and move equipment to designated locations.
• Assemble machinery, hydraulic pipes and pumps.
• Put frames together.
• Maintain and observe all health and safety rules.
• Clean workshop areas, empty waste containers and assist with other duties.
