Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Telford is seeking an Experienced Assembly Operative to assemble products to specification and to read engineering drawings for accurate production. You will pack finished goods, perform basic quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a busy production environment.

Job description

Experienced Assembly Operative – Telford, TF7 – Pay: £12.80 per hour – Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm; Friday 8:00am-1:00pm – Contract: Ongoing / Temp-to-perm.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products/components to specification in a busy manufacturing setting
• Read and interpret technical/engineering drawings and follow work instructions
• Pick parts and materials accurately for production and orders

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in assembly/manufacturing
• Confident reading and working from drawings
• Picking and packing experience within a production/warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to work at pace
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
