Job summary

Talent-UK is recruiting an Assembly Operative in the Skelmanthorpe area for a temporary role within a growing manufacturing business. You will fit components, wire looms, and work with cables and panels, following drawings or computer-generated instructions.

The position is on-site, with standard hours and overtime opportunities. Ideal candidates will have some manufacturing or assembly experience, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on assembly work experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using cables and connectors.
• Wire loom boards and work with cables (cutting, crimping, stripping).
• Assemble panels and metal work following drawings or computer instructions.
• Follow work schedules and production instructions.

Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative on a temporary basis to join a growing manufacturing business in the Skelmanthorpe area.

Responsibilities of the Assembly Operative:

• Fitting components using different types of cables and connectors
• Wiring loom boards
• Working with cables such as cutting, crimping and stripping
• Work on panels and metal assemblies
• Follow drawings/instructions either written or computer generated
• Follow work schedules

Preferred Skills / Experience of the Assembly Operative:

• Able to maintain focus while completing repetitive tasks
• Requires endurance to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
• Good hand and eye coordination
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Experience in manufacturing, production or assembly work would be beneficial
• Basic computer literacy, helpful but not essential

What is on offer to the Assembly Operative:

• Hours rate of £12.71 per hour
• Working hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday On-site
• Over time available
• Ongoing in house training to upskill further
• Temporary opportunity
