• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, engineering or production.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.

• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work rotating AM/PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small, precision components using hand tools and specialist equipment.
• Follow work instructions, technical drawings and assembly procedures.
• Operate production machinery and equipment.
• Carry out quality checks and inspect finished products.
• Complete basic production paperwork and record information accurately.
• Support different areas of production as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve production and quality targets.

Salary: £27,000 basic + 10% shift allowance

The Role

As an Assembly Operative, you'll be working with precision‑engineered components, ensuring products are assembled accurately and to the highest quality standards.

Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

• Assembling small, precision components using hand tools and specialist equipment.
• Following work instructions, technical drawings and assembly procedures.
• Operating production machinery and equipment.
• Carrying out quality checks and inspecting finished products.
• Completing basic production paperwork and recording information accurately.
• Supporting different areas of production as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve production and quality targets.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, engineering or production.
• Good manual dexterity and confidence working with small components.
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality‑focused approach.

• Some experience using hand tools or production machinery.

Experience within precision assembly or engineering manufacturing would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
