Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting for 5 Production Operatives for our client in Stoke, ST1. The role involves manufacturing and building items to IPC/WHMA-620 standards, with duties including cutting and stripping wires, crimping and soldering terminations, and handling electronic components.

Experience reading production drawings and wire harness documentation is preferred, with IPC620 Class 3 training offered. Start immediately; pay £12.71 per hour; hours are Mon-Thu 7am-3:50pm and Fri 7am-11:10pm,

Qualifications

• Training to IPC620 Class 3 available on site.

Responsibilities

Gap Personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for 5 Production Operatives for our client in Stoke ST1.

Role: Production Operative

Job Term: Ongoing work with permanent opportunities for the right candidate

Pay: £12.71

Location: Stoke, ST1

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3:50pm, Friday 7am - 11:10pm (37.5 hours per week paid)

Brand new vacancies available for this client for hardworking, driven individuals. All the cable assemblies are built to meet or exceed the acceptance criteria of this standard, including Class 3 High Performance Electronic Products for critical systems often required in Aerospace and Medical applications.

Job Description

• Manufacture and build items in compliance with IPC/WHMA-620 requirements

• Understanding of production drawings and documentation for wire/harness/electromechanical products
• Ability to read and follow documented build procedures

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will understand production drawings and documentation of wire harness/ electromechanical products. The ability to read and follow documented build procedures. Experience in manufacture of military / defence & other rugged / harsh environment cable harness & electromechanical products. Candidate must have experience.

Ideally trained to IPC620 Class 3 application, however, training will be arranged for employees initially if required. Follow up training provided annually.
