Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking Production Operatives to support assembly and production in Banbury. The role is a temporary project position with an anticipated duration until February, offering a pay rate of £15.00 per hour and standard hours Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30, Friday 07:30–13:30.

Expected extension possibilities depend on business needs, and a split-shift pattern may be introduced. Free on-site parking is available for all employees in Banbury.

Qualifications

  • Prev. manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Basic PC skills would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products in line with production processes and work instructions.
  • Work closely with team leaders to meet production targets.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production documentation.
  • Follow strict quality standards and procedures.
  • Identify, log, and report any faults or production issues.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Support other production areas as required.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties in support of the business.

Production Operative


Location: Banbury
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30am - 4:30pm, Friday: 07:30am - 1:30pm


Contract: Temporary Project Role (anticipated until February)
We are currently recruiting for a number of Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting project assembling high-quality products within a supportive team environment.


Please note this role is expected to run until February, although there may be opportunities for extension depending on business requirements. The company also reserves the right to introduce a split-shift pattern if operational needs require this during the project.
There is free on-site parking available for all employees.

The Role


As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly and production process, ensuring products are manufactured to a high standard of quality and accuracy while meeting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble products in line with production processes and work instructions.
  • Work closely with team leaders and colleagues to ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production documentation.
  • Follow strict quality standards and procedures.
  • Identify, log, and report any faults or production issues.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Support other production areas as required.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties in support of the business.
