Job summary

Catering in Havant, Hampshire is seeking an Assembler to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. This role involves working on advanced electronic and electromechanical assemblies in a clean, modern production environment where no two days are the same.

You will assemble conventional PCBs using Through-Hole and SMT techniques, perform high-quality hand soldering to IPC standards, build wiring looms and harnesses, and inspect finished work to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly or electromechanical assembly.
• Soldering experience with Through-Hole and SMT.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience building wiring looms and cable harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Assembling PCBs using Through-Hole & SMT techniques.
• Carrying out high-quality hand soldering to IPC standards.
• Building cable assemblies, wiring looms & harnesses.
• Completing electromechanical assemblies.
• Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards.
• Carrying out PCB rework, repairs & engineering modifications.
• Reading engineering drawings, schematics & wiring diagrams.
• Occasionally travelling to a nearby site to support prototype projects.

We’re recruiting for an Assembler to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team in Havant, Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced electronic & electromechanical assemblies in a clean, modern production environment, where no two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Previous experience within Assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly or electromechanical assembly
• Strong Through-Hole & SMT soldering experience
• Experience building wiring looms & cable harnesses
• Ability to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams
