Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a warehouse operative to support unloading, receiving, storage, picking and packing, and dispatch using ASRS and traditional methods. You will work with a team to meet targets, ensure stock accuracy, and operate warehouse systems and scanners, with forklift licences desirable and a valid UK driving licence.

The role offers training across warehouse operations and opportunities to contribute to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• UK driving licence is essential.
• Forklift licences desirable.
• Experience with Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload and check inbound deliveries against documentation.
• Quality-check and store products accurately.
• Manage incoming returns and process them correctly.
• Release orders from the system and prepare them for picking by warehouse area.
• Manage stock moves, extractions, and complex/high-density storage.
• Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and report defects or hazards.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Meet operational targets and deadlines under pressure.
