Job summary

inspiring vet care offers a full-time Student Veterinary Nurse position at Christopher Carter Vets in Southampton. You will train toward qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, supported by Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses, gaining hands-on experience across nursing duties while progressing through your training programme.

The role includes 8-hour shifts, one day per week at college, and weekend rota approx 1:4 Saturdays with TOIL.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in animal care and welfare.
• Willingness to learn and develop nursing skills.
• Good communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care under the guidance of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses.
• Gain hands-on experience across nursing duties while progressing through the training programme.
• Work towards qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
