Job summary

inspiring vet care’s Abington Park Vets in Northampton is seeking a Student Veterinary Nurse. It is a full-time fixed-term role, offering hands-on experience across first opinion and referral cases while training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

The pattern is Monday–Friday with a weekend 8am–1pm rotation. You’ll work under Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses, gaining practical nursing skills and building confidence in day-to-day practice, with support to balance work

Qualifications

• Motivated and committed individual keen to learn and develop in veterinary nursing.
• Proactive, reliable and able to work in a team.
• Able to manage time effectively balancing work and study commitments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under supervision of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses.
• Drive a practice ambulance if required.
• Assist with lifting/restraining animals and maintaining cleanliness.
