Job summary

Christopher Carter Vets in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team and train as a Student Veterinary Nurse on a full-time basis, supported to develop clinical and non-clinical skills toward qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

You’ll work alongside our vets and nurses across a busy practice in Southampton, with 8 hour shifts, one college day per week, and no out-of-hours. We value teamwork, learning, and a genuine interest in animal care.

Qualifications

• Motivated and committed to learn veterinary nursing.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Willing to study and progress toward qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care under guidance of Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses.
• Gain hands-on nursing experience across a busy practice.
• Attend college once a week as part of training.
