Job summary

NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group in Liverpool is offering a 24-month training post to become a sonographer. Qualifications

• Final candidates invited to formal interview with a presentation and panel questions.

Responsibilities

• Train as a sonographer across NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group sites.
• Undertake PgD Medical Imaging (Ultrasound) qualification at a University site.
• Undertake ultrasound examinations under supervision following departmental protocols.
• Communicate with patients and take focused medical histories to contextualise tests.
• Produce diagnostic ultrasound images for reporting by qualified practitioners.
