Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a graduate to join as an Aspiring Social Worker/SEN LSA at a specialist school in East Grinstead. The role focuses on supporting students with SEN/SEMH and trauma, aiming to raise engagement and life chances. September start with on-site training and CPD opportunities.

The position offers term-time, Mon-Fri hours (08:30–15:30) and pay in the range of £93–£105 per day PAYE, with eligibility for DBS checks as required.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Psychology, Sociology or Criminology.
• No prior experience required.
• Must have right to work in the UK and be eligible for DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN students with SEMH, trauma and related needs.
• Assist in boosting student engagement and attainment.
• Contribute to a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Work under supervision to provide consistent, compassionate support.
