Academics Ltd is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist/SEN Learning Support Assistant for a specialist school in East Grinstead, West Sussex. You will support pupils with SEN and SEMH, helping to raise attainment and confidence.

Suitable for graduates in Psychology, Criminology or Social Science, with DBS checks and right to work in the UK. Role starts in September with on-site training and PAYE salary of 93–105 per day, term-time only.

Are you passionate about demonstrating the value of education to vulnerable children?

A specialist built school based in East Grinstead is looking for a dedicated Aspiring Educational Psychologist/SEN Learning Support Assistant (SEN LSA) to join the team now! You will support students with special educational needs (SEN), and a range of associated social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH).

This Aspiring Educational Psychologist/SEN LSA role is ideal for a Psychology, Sociology and Criminology graduates. You will gain excellent practical experience with SEN/SEMH pupils in a relevant field, before you take your next step. The role will give you experience working with vulnerable pupils, increasing their engagement, attainment and life chances.

These children and young people face multiple barriers in their day-to-day life, including trauma, marginalisation and disadvantage, low educational achievement and social stigma. With this Aspiring Educational Psychologist/SEN LSA role based in East Grinstead, you will be an essential part of the pupils school life as with your consistency, you will provide them with invaluable help so they learn as much as they can, progress as far as they can and accomplish as much as they.

You will be instrumental in providing consistency, and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life.

September start, trial days taking place to ensure the role and school is right for you
Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
93- 105 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only
No previous experience is required
If you have a Psychology / Criminology / Social Science degree, it's an excellent use of your degree
You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship

Candidates registering with Academics Ltd will need to have or apply for an Enhanced DBS and/or overseas police check where appropriate

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
