Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to work across Huddersfield's primary schools, helping new teachers settle into the classroom environment.

This full-time role runs 8:15–15:30 (may vary), with weekly pay and enhanced DBS; salary is £120–£150 per day, depending on experience, and there are flexible working days and potential long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience with young children in educational/childcare setting.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are currently seeking out a dedicated and qualified Early Careers Teacher (ECTs) to work in a wide range of primary schools across Huddersfield. This gives you a great chance to develop your skills and allows new teachers to become more familiar with a classroom environment.

  • Salary: £120 - £150 per day (depending on experience)
  • Weekly pay

  • Hours: 8:15 – 15:30 (may vary)

Role requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Basic first aid certification is an advantage.
  • Has experience working within the Primary Sector.
  • Has knowledge of KS1/KS2 Curriculum.
  • Committed to promoting progression of pupils learning.

An ideal candidate should also have:

  • A commitment to the development of pupils.
  • Classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passionate and effective teaching style.
