Teaching Personnel is seeking an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to work across primary schools in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. This role offers exposure to EYFS and primary settings, with a focus on developing classroom skills in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent, have prior experience with young children, and demonstrate strong classroom management and communication abilities to foster pupil progression.

Job description

We are currently seeking out a dedicated and qualified Early Careers Teacher (ECTs) to work in a wide range of primary schools across Huddersfield. This gives you a great chance to develop your skills and allows new teachers to become more familiar with a classroom environment.

• Weekly pay

• Hours: 8:15 – 15:30 (may vary)
• EYFS and Primary

Role requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Basic first aid certification is an advantage.
• Has experience working within the Primary Sector.
• Has knowledge of KS1/KS2 Curriculum.
• Committed to promoting progression of pupils learning.

An ideal candidate should also have:

• A commitment to the development of pupils.
• Classroom management and communication skills.
• A passionate and effective teaching style.
