Job summary

Envision Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic Unqualified Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Slough for a September start. You will assist with routine classroom activities, support pupils with SEND when needed, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment alongside the class teacher.

This role suits someone seeking classroom experience and a genuine passion for helping children learn and develop, with Monday to Friday hours

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).

Responsibilities

• Support primary-aged pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour throughout the school day.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
