Job summary

Envision Education is recruiting a Level 3 Qualified Primary School Teaching Assistant for a September start in the High Wycombe area. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a temp-to-perm pathway.

You will support learning, work with the class teacher, and assist pupils with SEND needs in a supportive school setting. Ideal candidates will have Level 3 TA qualification, recent school experience, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and develop.

Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in education? We are currently recruiting for a confident and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in High Wycombe for a September start.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the potential to secure a permanent position within the school following a successful temporary placement.

The Role

As a Level 3 Qualified Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support primary-aged pupils with their learning and classroom activities.


• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.


• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.


• Support pupils with additional learning, behavioural or SEND needs.


• Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.


• Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.


• Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom activities.


• Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.


• Build positive relationships with pupils and support their individual needs.


• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.


• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).


• Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.


• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.


• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.


• A reliable, proactive and adaptable approach.


• The ability to commute to or work within the High Wycombe area.

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
