Blessed George Napier Catholic School and Sixth Form in Banbury is seeking an Assistant Subject Leader for Physical Education to start January 2027. This full-time, permanent post offers MPS/UPS with a TLR 2.1 (£3,527) and scope to develop leadership within a supportive multi-academy community.

We are looking for an ambitious, inspirational PE practitioner who can lead, coach colleagues and raise standards across the PE curriculum, school sport and wider well-being.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within Catholic ethos of the school.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Fluent English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Physical Education across the curriculum and school sport.
• Support PE team and contribute to whole-school improvement.
• Promote resilience, teamwork, confidence and respect through PE.
