Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated Secondary LSA for an ASAP start. You will support teachers across KS3 and KS4 in mainstream classrooms and deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.

The role offers a full-time, long-term contract through to July 2027 with regular CPD covering classroom practice, behaviour and safeguarding, and opportunities to collaborate with SEND staff and pastoral teams.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or First-Class degree from a leading UK university.
• Previous child-centred experience through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work or similar settings.
• Excellent communication skills, patience and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
• Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers across KS3 and KS4 in mainstream classrooms
• Providing 1:1 and small-group academic interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs where required
• Helping students develop confidence, independence and engagement
• Working with teachers to monitor pupil progress and overcome barriers to learning
