Job summary

Term Time Teachers is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant in Tunbridge Wells to support children aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties and related needs. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, plan activities with a teacher, foster social development and provide academic and pastoral support, with on-site training and CPD.

Applicants must have right to work in the UK; Enhanced DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs is desirable.
• Ability to support learning in small groups and 1:1.
• Ability to follow teacher instructions and adapt activities.

Responsibilities

• Support students with Severe Learning Difficulties in 1:1 and small-group settings.
• Help plan and deliver learning activities with classroom staff.
• Encourage social skills and monitor progress.
• Provide academic and pastoral support and maintain safeguarding.
