Mr H Outdoor Experiences Ltd T/a Gosforth Nursery is recruiting an Early Years Educator Apprentice to join a supportive team in Gosforth, Tyne and Wear. You will gain practical experience while working towards the Early Years Educator qualification, with a 12-month apprenticeship and a salary of £21,735.99 per year.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
• Willingness to complete the required apprenticeship training and qualification.
• Previous experience with children through work, volunteering, school placement or childcare.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities promoting learning and development.
• Build positive, caring relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Help provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Assist with children's personal care needs as appropriate.
• Encourage independence, confidence and social skills.
• Observe and record development and progress, contributing to assessments.
• Support learning through play and encourage curiosity, creativity and exploration.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality and behaviour policies.
• Communicate with parents/carers and other professionals as directed by senior staff.
• Attend training and complete apprenticeship learning and assessments.
