Job summary

The Nursery School Brighton is offering an Early Years Educator Apprentice position in Brighton. You will work as part of a friendly team while training towards a Level 3 Childcare qualification, gaining hands-on experience across the nursery environment.

The role supports children aged 0-5, with supervision from qualified staff, and involves planning activities, helping with meals, and ensuring a safe, inclusive setting. Training is provided by Realise with 20% off-the-job learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 0–5 is preferred but not essential.
• GCSE English and/or Maths at level 4 or above preferred but not essential.
• A passion for working with children and reliability are important.

Responsibilities

• Support nursery team in creating a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment.
• Assist with planning and preparation of activities to meet children’s needs.
• Assist in observing, assessments, and record keeping of children’s learning and development.
