VolkerHighways offers a Level 3 Bid and Proposal Coordinator Apprenticeship in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. The role supports the Work Winning team, with training, feedback and potential progression within bid coordination and business development.

You will learn bid processes, proposal writing, and document production while developing writing, organizational and communication skills during the apprenticeship. Salary is up to £10 per hour with benefits and course fees.

Qualifications

• Strong writing ability and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English & Maths.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bid Manager with preparation and coordination of bids and proposals.
• Track actions, deadlines and information requests to support timely submissions.
• Prepare notes and updates from meetings and circulate them.
• Learn to check documents for accuracy, consistency and client requirements.
• Maintain bid folders, trackers, and templates; ensure version control.
