Job summary
Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator in Abingdon to oversee the safe, efficient production of asphalt. You will monitor plant performance, perform inspections, operate mobile equipment, and coordinate with order offices and site management to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities
- Operate, inspect, and maintain the asphalt plant to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Carry out plant start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Maximise production throughput within plant capacity.
- Monitor plant performance and conduct routine inspections.
- Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
- Carry out weighbridge duties, including weighing vehicles in and out and loading asphalt products.
