You will help operate the asphalt plant safely, supporting production that builds and maintains UK roads and infrastructure. You’ll work in a safety‑driven, quality‑conscious team, gaining experience across plant operations and collaborating with nearby Heidelberg Materials sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience operating plant machinery in quarry, asphalt, or industrial settings.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Flexible and reliable with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop plant qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate static and mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Monitor plant performance and maximise production while upholding quality.
- Plan daily production schedules based on customer requirements.
- Complete daily inspection records and documentation.
- Support refuelling, greasing and cleaning of plant.
