Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking an Asphalt Operative to join the Corby site in Northamptonshire. The role involves batching asphalt and carrying out day-to-day maintenance of the plant, plus operating a loading shovel and weighbridge in line with safety and quality procedures.

You will contribute to on-site operations, support safety culture, and ensure systems are operated in accordance with procedures. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in an asphalt plant is advantageous; training provided.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude; able to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Batch asphalt and perform general day-to-day maintenance of the plant.
• Operate loading shovel and weighbridge in accordance with procedures.
• Support day-to-day site operations and uphold safety, environmental and quality standards.
