Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator at the Corby site to batch asphalt and perform routine maintenance. The role includes operating a loading shovel and weighbridge, following safety, environmental and quality procedures.

You will support day-to-day site operations, contribute to a strong safety culture, and ensure systems are used in accordance with established procedures. Training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within an asphalt plant would be an advantage; training will be provided.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work; able to remain calm under pressure.

Description

We are currently seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team at Corby site.

Your key responsibilities will be to batch asphalt and carry out general day to day maintenance of the plant. Other roles will include operating a loading shovel and weighbridge operations, ensuring this is done in accordance with our safety, environmental and quality procedures.

You will also be required to assist with the day to day operations on site, including but not limited to:

• Day to day maintenance and operations of the asphalt plant
• Promoting the company’s safety culture through example
• Operate systems in accordance with procedures

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Experience of working within an asphalt plant would be an advantage as would a positive record and attitude towards health and safety, however training will be provided.
• You should be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and be able to remain calm under pressure.
