Qualifications

• Strong planning, scheduling, or logistics coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant availability and record daily exceptions.
• Manage unplanned plant downtime and update planning systems.
• Minimise service disruption by identifying cost-effective supply solutions.
• Coordinate with plant teams to agree production schedules.
• Produce pre-planned supply costs and support planning activities.
• Create, review and optimise asphalt mixing programmes.
• Process customer enquiries, quotations and orders accurately.
• Negotiate realistic delivery schedules balancing capacity.
• Manage order amendments and changes in real time.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide responsive service.
• Ensure orders are entered accurately within SAP and planning systems.
• Support the external sales team by following up opportunities.
• Monitor delivery performance and address issues.
• Redirect vehicles and manage alternate supply arrangements during breakdowns.
• Support efficient fleet utilisation and resource planning.
• Work with haulage providers to optimise distribution solutions.
• Respond professionally to customer, driver and operational enquiries.
• Escalate potential service issues before they impact customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Maintain relationships across sales, operations, and transport.
