Job summary

Breedon Group plc is seeking an Asphalt Planner based at Breedon Head Office, Derbyshire. In this permanent full-time role, you will coordinate delivery of asphalt and aggregate products, liaising with customers and commercials teams via telephone and email to ensure on-time, cost-effective scheduling from our plants.

You will work in a busy office environment, respond to enquiries, and contribute to optimizing plant utilization while maintaining excellent customer service across Breedon’s

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience with Asphalt and Aggregates products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries and plan asphalt plant scheduling to meet customer requirements.

Based in an office environment, you’ll work with our customers and commercials teams via telephone and email to coordinate delivery of our asphalt and aggregate products. Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, you won’t be restricted by lots of red tape; you will have the opportunity to engage with your customers, truly getting to know them.

Key Responsibilities

As an Asphalt Planner you will respond to enquiries and work in an organised fashion, working within a team in a fast-paced environment you will be responsible for the planning of our asphalt plants making sure we are supplying from our most cost-effective plant, scheduling and monitoring of customers’ orders. You must be able to meet customers’ requirements whilst keeping them informed and maximising our commercial opportunities. Effective communication between both internal and external stake holders is paramount right up to delivery on the customers doorstep!

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Customer service experience

• Experienced with or knowledge of Asphalt and Aggregates products
