Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council are recruiting an Additional Support for Learning Teacher for the Ellon Network. The role delivers high-quality learning for pupils with additional support needs and fosters relationships to promote independence, confidence and participation. The position is a fixed-term network post with duties across Auchterellon School and Ellon CSN.

Salary will be in line with SNCT agreements. Applicants must be or eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered.

Qualifications

• GTC Scotland registration or eligible for registration.
• PVG Scheme requirement or update check.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging learning programmes tailored to pupils with additional support needs.
• Deliver inclusive and high-quality education for pupils with ASN.
• Foster and build meaningful relationships with pupils to develop confidence, resilience and engagement.
• Promote positive outcomes and wider achievement for all learners.
