Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Production Technician to join the Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit at Moor House (LS10). The role focuses on supervising aseptic cleanroom activities, assembling and manufacturing aseptic medicines, and ensuring high-quality technical services across West Yorkshire.

The successful candidate must hold NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Level 3 Diploma in Aseptic Processing (or NVQ Level 2 with relevant training) and demonstrate experience in

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
• Level 3 Diploma in the Principles of Aseptic Pharmaceutical Processing (Science Manufacturing Technician) or NVQ Level 2 with aseptic/production training.
• Significant experience to an equivalent level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision and coordination of aseptic staff and cleanroom activities.
• Organise and prioritise workloads across assembly and preparation areas for routine and fast-track services.
• Ensure accurate preparation, checking and supply of aseptic medicines with proper documentation.
• Maintain compliance with GMP and COSHH, report deviations and promote best practice.
