Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Aseptic Services Technician to join the Pharmacy Aseptic Services team at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield. You will contribute to the implementation of the Pharmacy Services strategy and support excellence in patient care.

The role requires registration with the GPHC or The Science Council and previous aseptic experience. As well as a motivated and enthusiastic approach, you will supervise technicians, participate in training, and uphold

Qualifications

• BTEC in Pharmaceutical sciences or Level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician and registered with The Science Council.
• Certificate of Accreditation as a Checking Technician/Pre and In Process Checking certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and staff in aseptic services.
• Ensure accuracy checking of aseptic processes.
• Coordinate service delivery with lead technicians, training and quality assurance.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medicinal products for patients.
• Check labels and documentation for compliance.
• Deputise for Specialist Technicians in their absence.
• Maintain standards and documentation in the department.
