Job summary

Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking staff to join our Pharmacy Production team to help ensure patients receive high-quality, safe medicines in a controlled environment. This role is not a dispensing position and focuses on production across several units within Pharmacy.

You will work across three key areas: Aseptic Dispensing Unit, Quality Control Department, and Pre-packing Unit, with training and validation appropriate to each area.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and prepares patient-specific injectable medications in a clean room, using a pharmaceutical isolator.
• Supports Quality Control by carrying out essential checks on unlicensed medicines and products labelled in the Pre-packing Unit.
• Labels bulk quantities of medicines and picks and checks orders within the Pre-packing Unit.
