Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Pharmacy Production Technician role with progression from Band 4 to Band 5 under Annex 21. The post involves developing competencies across the Production Unit, aseptic and pre-packing tasks, and adherence to GMP and SOPs.

The successful candidate will work toward Band 5 progression, supported by structured training and competency assessments, in a hospital-based pharmacy production setting at King’s Mill Hospital.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 / BTEC in pharmaceutical science or equivalent.
• Registered Technician with General Pharmaceutical Council.
• A levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of safe, high-quality pharmacy production services.
• Develop and maintain technical competencies across relevant production areas.
• Work in accordance with SOPs, GMP requirements, quality standards and departmental procedures.
• Support the training and development of colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Assist with quality management, audits, investigations and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop greater responsibility for day-to-day operational activities within the Production Unit
