Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Aseptic Unit Pharmacy Assistant. The role involves preparing a range of injectable medicines within cleanrooms, under GMP-compliant processes, with full training provided.

You will join a skilled team, develop procedures, and contribute to safe, accurate compounding while adhering to protocols. Evening shifts once weekly until 7pm and bank holiday rotas apply.

Qualifications

• GCSE minimum grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of injectable products (e.g., chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, antibiotics) in aseptic conditions.
• Follow GMP and SOPs; gowning, cleaning, labelling, measuring and compounding in cleanrooms.
