Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is recruiting a Senior Pharmacy Assistant for the Aseptic Services Unit. The role involves aseptic preparation of injectable medicines under the supervision of pharmacists and a trained technical team.

Working in a cleanroom environment, you will participate in documentation, stock control and in-process checks, supporting high-quality cancer care across our network.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade C or above.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• NVQ2 in pharmacy services or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Aseptically prepare cytotoxic/MABS/EAMS products in line with GMP and COSHH.
• Daily cleaning and disinfection of aseptic clean rooms and Isolators.
• Assemble ingredients and disposables; transfer through the Aseptic Unit.
• Carry out in-process checks after training; maintain documentation.
