Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead the ASDA cafe operation in Skelton on a fixed-term 12-month maternity cover. This hands-on role requires a strong leader who can deliver excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations in a busy retail environment.

You will take full responsibility for the café, guiding your team to meet targets, drive sales, maintain food safety standards, and ensure a positive customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

Café Manager – ASDA Skelton

Fixed term contract - 12 months maternity cover

£28,800 per annum | 40 hours per week

We’re recruiting an experienced and passionate Café Manager to lead the ASDA café operation in Skelton This is a hands‑on role for a strong leader who can deliver excellent customer service and smooth day‑to‑day operations in a busy retail environment.

As Café Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the café, leading your team to deliver consistent standards while driving performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop your catering and front‑of‑house team


• Ensure smooth daily operations across the café


• Manage budgets, stock, and labor to meet targets and KPIs


• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
