Job summary

The Bishop Fraser Trust is advertising for an ASD Provision Manager to lead the school's specialist resource provision for students with ASD. The role is based at BSCA in a state-of-the-art £36 million building, with commitments to CPD and staff development.

The post requires experience with autistic spectrum needs and a strong ability to work with pupils aged 11-16, parents and staff, while promoting an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing provision for students with special needs is desirable.

• Oversee the development and delivery of the school's ASD provision.
• Lead and manage a team of support staff to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Collaborate with SENCO, teaching staff and external agencies to support Hive pupils.
• Create and monitor individual education plans and support strategies.
• Promote inclusion and positive outcomes for students with ASD across the school.
• Act as Form Tutor for The Hive pupils and handle daily routines.

• Has previous experience of working with children aged 11 -16 in an education setting.

• Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

• Oversee the development and delivery of the school's specialist resource provision for students with ASD.
• Lead and manage a team of support staff to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Work closely with the SENCO, teaching staff, teaching assistants and external agencies to provide tailored support for Hive pupils to access mainstream lessons.
• Create and monitor individual education plans and support strategies.
• Promote inclusion and positive outcomes for students with ASD across the school community.
• Act as Form Tutor for The Hive pupils, delivering key messages and routines daily.
• Act as first point of call for all enquires and support requests for pupils of the Hive.
