We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASD Learning Assistant (ADHD) to support a KS3 student with moderate ADHD. The student is progressing academically but requires assistance with concentration and peer interaction.

ASD Learning Assistant | The ideal candidate:

• Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in educational or special education settings.
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
• Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and professionals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet students' evolving needs and the educational environment.
