Year 2 Learning Support Assistant, London Borough of Redbridge

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant for a primary school in Redbridge, East London.

The school is a two-form entry primary with a supportive leadership team, committed to academic excellence and student success. The role involves supporting students one-to-one, assisting with lesson plans and activities, and helping invigilate tests.

This position is open to qualified candidates passionate about education and student support. Prior SEN/LSA classroom experience is preferred but not required.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location: Redbridge, East London
• Position: Year 6 Learning Support Assistant
• Type of work: One-to-one support, assessing student work, assisting with lesson plans, invigilation
• Start date: September 2025
• Duration: One term, with potential extension
• Contract type: Temporary
• Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
