Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor for a role covering Falkirk and the Central Belt. You will conduct surveys across commercial, industrial and mixed-use properties, delivering high-quality reports and ensuring compliance with current legislation.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience as an Asbestos Surveyor in a UKAS-accredited consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication, organisation and report-writing skills.
• Professional, reliable and quality-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types.
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Working across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
• Managing your workload across multiple client sites.
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out asbestos surveys across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout the Central Belt.

Working independently and as part of an experienced team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
