Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a well-established UKAS-accredited consultancy. You will carry out a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites throughout Birmingham and the Midlands.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications are essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in a dual Surveyor / Analyst role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys.
• Undertaking air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances and reoccupation certification.
• Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Producing accurate reports in accordance with HSG264 and HSG248 guidance.
• Managing workloads across multiple client sites.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality assurance.
