Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst covering Bristol and surrounding regions. The role blends surveying and analytical duties across diverse sites in the South West, with a focus on compliance and quality reporting.

You'll join an experienced team, handling management and R&D surveys, air monitoring, and bulk sampling.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Undertake air monitoring, including 4-stage clearances, leak testing, reassurance testing, and reoccupation certification in line with HSG248
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Produce accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
• Work across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties
• Manage your own workload with support from an established operations team
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure compliance with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
